McDonald Law Firm LLC is a Criminal Defense Law Firm owned and operated by David McDonald with offices in Platte City, Missouri and in Olathe, KS.
David has been a trial attorney for the past 16+ years and has practiced in dozens of courts throughout Kansas and Missouri. David went to law school after graduating Sigma Cum Lade from Missouri Western State University where he majored in Criminal Justice and worked briefly in law enforcement. This early experience working as a law enforcement is likely what led David to law school and eventually to being a criminal defense attorney.
David loves fighting for his clients. He has won dozens of trials ranging from low level misdemeanors up to murder cases where his clients faced the death penalty. He has helped get a 100+ cases dismissed for clients before their trial. This was either accomplished by motions to dismiss/suppress or by simply making the prosecutor aware of how weak their case is.
Over his 16+ years of practicing law, David has built strong and positive relationships with prosecutors through out the Kansas City Metro area. Currently David has cases in Clay, Platte and Jackson County Missouri and Leavenworth,
